Mega Show Bangkok 2026: A Buyer’s Guide to Getting There, Hotels, Food, and Tips

We're exhibiting at Mega Show Bangkok 20261, and we want your trip to be easy. So we put this short guide together. It covers how to reach the venue, where to stay, where to eat, and a few tips to save you time.

Quick facts

Mega Show Bangkok 2026

Getting to QSNCC

QSNCC

The best way to reach the venue is the metro. Bangkok traffic can be slow. The MRT is not.

  • By MRT: Take the MRT Blue Line to Queen Sirikit National Convention Center station. Use Exit 3. A tunnel connects the station right to the exhibition hall.
  • By BTS: Take the BTS to Asok. Change to the MRT at Sukhumvit station. Ride to the QSNCC stop.
  • From Suvarnabhumi Airport: About a 45-minute drive. Or take the Airport Rail Link and connect to the MRT.
  • From Don Mueang Airport: Take the SRT Red Line to Bang Sue. Change to the MRT Blue Line to QSNCC.
  • By bus: Routes 136 and 185 stop in front of the venue.
  • By car: QSNCC has indoor parking for up to about 3,000 cars, with lifts straight to the event floors. The car park is open from early morning until midnight.

Where to stay

Here are hotels close to the venue, grouped by need. The prices below are rough nightly rates for July, which is Bangkok's low season, shown in Thai baht (THB). Use them as a guide only. Always check the live price when you book — rates move with your dates and room type. (Rates checked May 2026.)

Closest to the show

  • Wyndham Bangkok Queen Convention Centre Hotel3 — About a 3-minute walk to QSNCC. Apartment-style rooms with a kitchen and washing machine. Good for a team staying several days. There's a food court and convenience store downstairs. Approx. THB 2,200–3,800 per night (about USD 65–110).

Solid business pick

  • Modena by Fraser Bangkok4 — On Rama IV, with the MRT right out front and an underground walkway to the convention center. A reliable mid-range hotel with steady, strong reviews. Good value. Approx. THB 2,000–3,200 per night (about USD 60–95).

Highest rated nearby

  • Gardina Asoke Hotel & Residence5 — A boutique hotel near Sukhumvit, about one MRT stop away. One of the best-rated stays in the area. It even runs a free tuk-tuk. Approx. THB 2,500–4,500 per night (about USD 75–130).

Budget-friendly, still walkable

  • Arawana Express Sukhumvit 226 — Within walking distance and well rated. Rooms are small but clean and new. Approx. THB 900–1,600 per night (about USD 28–48).

Best for shopping and dining

  • Sukhumvit Suites Hotel7 — Right by Asok BTS and across from Terminal 21 mall. One MRT stop from the venue. Great if you like to eat and shop after the show. Approx. THB 1,500–2,800 per night (about USD 45–85).

Where to eat

You won't go hungry. Here's the short version.

Inside QSNCC (quick lunches between meetings)

  • Food Street (food court, LG floor): Thai, Chinese, and Indian dishes. Clean, air-conditioned, and cheap. Most meals run about 65–90 baht.
  • Zen (Japanese) and Man Fu Yuan (Cantonese dim sum): Sit-down spots for a proper meal.
  • Vantage Point: A buffet with a park-and-lake view. Nice for a relaxed client lunch.

Near the venue (dinner and client meals)

  • Ride one MRT stop to Asok. The Sukhumvit and Terminal 21 area is packed with food, from street stalls to restaurants of every kind. It's the easiest place to take buyers after the show.

Tips for a smooth visit

  • Use the metro, not taxis. Streets get jammed. The MRT drops you at the door.
  • July is rainy season. Expect short afternoon showers. Pack a small umbrella. The halls are cold with air-con, so bring a light layer.
  • Get the Grab app. It's the easy way to book rides and food. Many places take QR payment (PromptPay), but keep some cash for food courts and stalls.
  • Book meetings early. The show offers business matching. Register in advance and line up the suppliers you want to see. You'll get far more done.
  • Bring plenty of business cards and your needs in writing. The show is trade-only and for visitors aged 18 and over.
  • Check your visa — the rules are changing. As of late May 2026, citizens of many countries can still enter Thailand visa-free for short stays. But in May 2026 Thailand's cabinet approved cutting the visa-free stay from 60 days to 30 days8, and to 15 days for some countries. So the exact rule for your passport may change before July. Your passport should be valid for at least 6 months. Check your country's current rule on the official Thai e-Visa site9 (thaievisa.go.th) before you book, and again before you fly. (Checked May 2026.)
  • Fill in the TDAC before you arrive. Thailand now asks almost all foreign visitors to complete a Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC)10 online before landing. It replaced the old paper form. Do it a few days before your trip and keep the QR code handy.
